Office quick start

The first steps for an Owner or office person after signing up.

1. Get set up

Home shows a "Get set up" checklist that ticks itself off as you go.

  1. Company profile: your company's name and contact details.
  2. Logo and brand color: they show on your service reports, invoices and in the app.
  3. Price Book: start from the common pest services list and type your own prices.
  4. Invoice settings: the wording and options on your invoices.

2. Customers and service plans

A customer can own several properties; each property gets its own service agreement.

  1. Add your first customer and their property — or bring them all in at once: Settings → Data → Import customers (a CSV file; a preview first, nothing saved until you tap Import).
  2. Create a service agreement on the property: service type, how often (monthly, every 2 months, quarterly), price, and whether the tech collects payment at the visit or the office bills.
  3. Completing or skipping a visit makes the next one automatically.

3. Your team and the schedule

You create each person's login yourself and give them their email and password.

  1. Team → Add team member: pick Office or Technician. Sensitive permissions (prices, payment amounts) start off.
  2. Schedule: Today, Upcoming, Needs scheduling and All visits. Assign visits to techs and set the route.
  3. Send your techs the Technician Guide (Resources → Technician Guide).

4. Payments and billing

Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account.

  1. Settings → Payments: connect your Stripe account. Until it's active, invoices say cash or check only.
  2. Billing: send invoices, record cash and check payments, and see what's unpaid and past due.
  3. Customers can pay by card from the invoice's Pay link, or save a card for autopay.

5. Texting

Your customers get texts from your own number, with your company name.

  1. Settings → Texting: pick a number (toll-free is recommended) and fill in the registration. Carriers review it before texts can go out; email works meanwhile.
  2. Only customers with recorded consent get texts, and a STOP reply always stops them.
  3. Settings → Messages: change the wording of each text and email, in English and Spanish.
